Diaper Wipes

Today I was able to catch a moment to do some sewing. I whipped up some flannel diaper wipes for the little guy. 

Pilot Cap

My kiddos often had a little pilot cap to keep their little ears warm as babies. Instead of purchasing one I decided to crochet one with yarn we already have. I put together pieces of a few online patterns custom fitting it to his head. It is "almost" perfect. I may whip up another and tweak it a bit more. Until then he can be toasty warm. The yarn is a Brown Sheep Serendipity yarn. It's a wool cotton blend. 

Baby Beanie

A new little hat for Baby Joe. He has already outgrown his newborn caps so I whipped out a new one this week. It's made with Brown Sheep's Serendipity yarn a cotton wool blend. Very soft and plush. I love Brown Sheep yarns. 

Baby Joseph is here!

Our precious little love is here. Baby Joseph is such a cutie and we are in love. 

Grandma's Blanket

My Mother-in-law crocheted this gorgeous blanket for baby Joseph. I can't wait to receive it. It's a big beautiful size that he will be able to use for years. It was done in a baby yarn and will be really soft. I appreciate all her hard work and can't wait to wrap him in it. 

Third Soaker

While waiting for the little guy to arrive I decided to whip out one more soaker. Same pattern as the others, using up more stash yarn.  The pattern is quick and easy now that I have the hang of it. I whipped this one out in a day. 

Wool Diaper Soaker

Pattern is the Curly Purly Diaper Soaker from ravelry. Just finished the brown cover. I will lanolize them tomorrow, I'm anxious to see how these covers work. Lots of great reviews online. They seemed really waterproof with our home trial. If they work as well as others say I will knit up a bunch more in the next sizes.
